I owned one for a few months last year. It was the blonde one. It played well, but the frets were a little sharp on the edges. The neck pickup was strat-like and the bucker in the bridge could get a little nasty although the coil split tamed it some. I ended up trading it, an old volume pedal and some cash for an Ibanez AXD81 semi-hollow which I really love. I already have a Bullet strat for the single coil sound.

I would say $150 is a decent price if it is in good shape. I paid $90 for mine at a pawn shop.

I think $150 for a clean non-modded 51 would be appropriate. Occasionally you find one cheaper, but don't count on it. They were surprisingly good, and *different*, when new and original, but have become fodder for the modding crowd, so inspect carefully - they are now 6+ years old and may be modded in good ways or bad by now.
