For me Andy's tone is jaw dropping. I just want to eat it with a spoon. His other solo album is good - this one ("Andy Timmons Band Plays Sgt. Pepper's") is amazing. Truly amazing. I really like how the drummer gets the little signature Ringo runs at the right time to pay homage to the original but does enough to make it different and interesting but not too much. The bass player sites in the pocket pretty well and then takes the right moments to enhance the song as well. And of course the guitar work is exceptional. Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed these. |
