I don't judge celebrity suicides.
I prefer to concentrate on their great music.
Probably drug induced.

His family are rejecting, the 'suicide' finding. But I guess, many would, as it would be HARD accept when you had a good life, to end it all.

I hope they're right! For their sake, esp his kids!

Any Damn Yankee Fans out there?
Been hearing some of these recently on Sirius Classic Rock channel.
I always liked the sound!
Band was mainly Tommy Shaw from Stix, Jack Blades from Night Ranger, and Ted Nugent from Amboy dukes.

Great sound! Can't half tell the bassist is a Noddy Holder fan!

Strange to see Da Nuge shredding metal and playing solid bodied PRS's!

Speaking of Da Nuge?
Here's uncle Ted in 87 a couple of years before Damn Yankees, playing a Paul.
"Great White Buffalo"
You can hear the bass better with Fones!
I think he was giving the fragile Byrdland's a break!

Da Nuge is a great entertainer, but ELVIS said it best: Play your music and KEEP your politics at home!

SO Did Zappa: Shaddap an' play yer guitar! I wish Ted would do that, and STOP playing with guns!

I love Ted, don't get me wrong, but when he starts prattling on about guns and shit, I lost a lot of respect for him! He wants to go hunting, and target range, fine, I've done that too, but KEEP it to ya self!

Entertain, don't proselityse!

Don't confuse politics with the Music.
This thread is about only the music.
F__k the politics.

Here's a band I always liked, 38 Special.
Featuring Donnie Van Zant, Ronnie, Johnny, and Lonnie's brother.
"Hold On Loosely"

The allman brothers were always my hero's!
I have an old copy of brothers and sisters on vinyl, that is completely wore out.
The two A-M listed, were among my favorites.
Also high on the list.
One way out
Midnight Rider
Melissa
Blue Sky
Statesboro Blues
Soulshine
