This is a sort-of poll, but less formal. I'm playing to my own strengths, but anyone's free to run with an interesting topic:

Which of these would you be more interested in reading &/or joining?

-- reviews of low-end currently-available electric guitars

-- reviews of odd, offbeat older guitars (1980s mostly)

-- simple tweeks for electric axes that'll improve tone, playability

-- upgrades/mods available (nothing requiring more than a screwdriver & basic soldering)

-- wiring stuff: phase, taps, switches

Don't really mod my stuff anymore and I'd rather play than tweak... so that drops the last 3 things for me. So I guess reviews would be nice whether older guitars or newer doesn't really matter.

I would like to see more reviews of Guitars, Amps, and Effects that are of the "frugal" variety. This could include new and older items. There are so many brands of guitars that reviews are scarce, brands like Hallmark, Dillion, Davison, etc.

I do like reading on the different mods people make, up until 6 months ago I have never even replaced pickups in a guitar before but reading through various threads helped walk me through the process. I do like reading about intonation and speaker ohms and parallel wiring and am not shy to admit that I still don't understand all of it.

FG is a great site and a good forum. Thanks for your attempts at making it even better.

Just my two cents.

All of those sound great. I'm really interested in the offbeat old guitars from the 60-80s.

Premier Guitar runs great wiring mods and tone enhancing mod articles.
