Rondo, has introduced a new line, Hadean.
They started with the guitars.
Here is the new Bass Entry.
A lot of 5 string bass for the Buck.
two Musicman Humbucker pickups, and deluxe tuners, to name a few.
All for $139.95
The body shape appears to be a direct copy of the Ibanez SR305.
In a passive model.

If I was in the market for a bass, I'd be very tempted to check out the natural ash one. Very, very nice looking...

Damn, this makes me itchy. They look to have wood pickup covers on one model:

And there are *no* logos on the head stocks. I kinda like that.

The bridge doesn't look like anything special, but it might be OK, especially with an
Ash body and a thru-neck to help sustain. The multi-piece neck
is a nice feature - really helps stability. I usually like 35" scale for more
tension on the low-B, but I'm getting older - 34" might be just fine (confession: I
have a Brice 6 with a 34" scale and it is just fine with the right strings.)
And the combination of passive pups
and an active tone circuit is just fine. If the craftsmanship is
decent, they are going to sell a ton of these.

Now, if I could just think of an excuse....

Hadean EB-9705 Neck Through Red.
Don't know if I like this color scheme, but it is very striking in appearance.
What do you think, Love it, or Hate it?
Either way, It is a lot of 5 String for the money,$189.95.

This is IMO a B_T Rated, HellOfaDeal!

A deal, yes. But I think I'm in the "I hate it" camp as far as the finish goes. My next bass fantasy remains the natural ash version of this one.

I also like the Douglas Sculptor 5-string fretless they have for $190'ish....

Roger that, on the Hate it.
Maybe we will get some other color options.
I wonder what kind of active preamp board is in it?

Love the look, and that EB9705 with the natural center block and red wings looks DELICIOUS to me, but I get really irritated with the pickup placements when builders design these two-pickup MM basses. If ever a bass pickup screamed to be used in a 3-pickup array, it's this one...push the neck a bit forward and the bridge a bit back, and slam a third pickup into the sweet spot. I get the appeal, and esthetics do matter, but this design just wastes the sweet spot.

But at this price, you can always buy two...
