I wonder if the other members want to start a demo thread of songs they've recorded with their frugal guitars, amps & pedals etc. Think

Oookay... Think so no ones jumped in as yet, ok I'll bite!

Here is a demo done with plugins only, with my last Telecaster build, & XV500, to demonstrate it's dirty Marshall like sound on a blues rock track I call 'Pile Driver Blues'!

The bass was the Tokai violin bass & plugin as well.

Drums courtesy of EZ Drummer 2!

Enjoy!

i fought with the 'login' for an hour today...and FINALLY got in:

http://www.soundclick.co...songid=13541708&q=hi

i can't say this was all that 'frugal'. Have made a LOT of gear mistakes learning 'how to record', and still learning. Hag Swede (scratch n dent), Mackie VLZ4, audacity, Behringer UCA 202, hohner, zoom drum machine, Vox AC4TV,Boss pedals, Audix Fireball mic, AKG Perception 100 on the amp, Rogue Bass (the $100 one, but it was a 'scratch n dent').

Here's my GS playing acoustic, performing for 5000 school kids at a FBLA convention in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Not the best recording, but you get the gist of it.

AWESOME big_teee
your grandson has depth, a good thing

It is one thing to play in a band but it is a whole other to work solo and your Grandson does solo very good..
Thanks for posting the video and the song is great too

Ethan does a great job! Very mature player/singer for a 17 y/o!

What was that convention he was playing at?
Looked like a BIGGY! ThumpUp

The convention was a FBLA, Future Business Leaders of America.
It was held in our state Capitol of Little Rock, Arkansas.
His main thing he likes is Blues Jams.
Here's one he did recently around here.

Very good he is, however, I am concerned with his vocal style. HAS he had singing lessons?
Because I am worried, that if he is achieving that vocal tone without proper technique, his voice is going to be damaged in a few years, and none of us want that! He has a BIG future as the next JB or JM maybe. ThumpUp
