Yes I know, but I have absolutely no control over my Grandkids.
It seems to be more prevalent during allergy season.
Lots of tree pollen here right now.
He's been told to take it easy on the grind and the growling.
Whatever the outcome, it beats him being in gangs on the street!
I can't get over how fast he's taken to guitar, he's only been playing a little over 2 years.

Here's a clip of the local kids blues society, called the Young Bloods, playing on Beale St. music festival.
My other grandson Joshua is singing.
He starts off a little off key but gets a lot better toward the end.
I like Ethan's guitar work.

Ok got ya! Was just listening with 'instructors' ears on.

Oh yeah Josh got it goin' on. He will improve. AT that age for voice breaking!

Oohh he's wailing like Howlin' Wolf maybe! Get's in to it.

You got 2 talented grand sons there!

Yes, with this discipline from the arts, they won't get caught up in street gangs and drugs etc. Gives the kids purpose! That's WHY kids often join/form gangs and do drugs, petty crime etc, their life doesn't HAVE much purpose!

Here's Ethan and his own band at my Son's house in the Garage.
Their rendition of "Red House"
They practice every Tuesday night for about 3 hours.
I call them Ethan and the Mechanics, the bass and drummer are both mechanics by trade.
They needed a demo to send in, to get a festival gig this coming weekend. (they got the gig)
I like Ethan's guitar solo work near the end.
He is playing his 65 reissue Strat, and 65 Reissue Deluxe Reverb, and pedal boaard.

Bravo Bravo That is a great job done by your GS.
The 1st time I heard that song was in 1970 when this guy I knew came home from Germany where he was station in the service. He brought back Jimi Hendrix
"Are you experienced" album. He had the British release which included Red House, it did not make the cut for the American release but then it really does not seem to fit with the other tunes on that album.

A big thanks for sharing the vide big_teee

Very good groove there.
Some1 like him needs a GOOD solid rsection for him to play off, so he doesn't have to think too much!

This is the band that Ethan and the Mechanics is opening for at the Saturday Spring Crawfish and gumbo festival.
John Calvin Brewer Band. They are a popular regional band.
I apologize if I hijacked this thread. There wasn't a lot getting posted, so I jumped in. BigGrin

All good Terry!
They rock!
ODD to see a blues player using a Mesa-Boogie recto amp to play funk/blues!

Ethan and his band played a 75 minute set at the local Gumbo and Crawfish boil, saturday.
If I get any youtube links, I will post them. They sounded good to me.

A new demo of a country rock ballad I composed as a backing track to some photo montages of various places I have photographed.

It's called 'Stony Ground' (i.e. Country rock Wink )

Track was recorded in Mixcraft 7 Pro suite, EB3 bass, custom built Tele with GFS Fatbody pick ups, NO amps were used in this recording. All done with amp plugins and speaker plugins, that inc the bass amp as well.

It's just a rough demo I did a few mths back.
I MAY expand it to a full song, along with keys on it.

Let me know what you think!

Cheers!
Enjoy!
