I really enjoyed the American Guitar List that was posted on the main site. I was really surprised with the First Act selection! I didn't really expect that. The Carvin and Godin were pretty much givens. The Benford was a choice though. I had no idea about them.

However, I did notice that the price point a lot of those companies would be more than I consider "frugal". I think "frugal" needs to be a little more clearly defined. Personally, I consider a frugal guitar to be in the sub-$350 range. When we start talking $500 to $800 for some of those guitars listed in the article, that's a little too rich for what I consider frugal. I think this website has a perfect niche and I would hate to see it start migrating away from the frugal aspect that sets it apart from the hundreds of other websites for guitar players. Lose focus of "frugal" and you lose your niche and just because another common site for guitar players.
