Bit early to be able to say much as I just got the thing but I'll take a swing at my out of the box impression.

apparently this brand is made for Gutar Center I read somewhere but I picked mine up from Musicians Friend since I had a coupon list is 199 for the sunburst which I got, the natural finish is 179 I believe...anywho to the point, I wanted a solid top guitar and I wanted one on the cheap, I'm not much of a guitarist but wanting to play again so I figured I'd go for something inexpensive. I've owned a Martin and a Guild in the past but anymore than I really play those were both overkill and both ended up pawned at some point to make bills in the past.

solid top sub 300 dollar guitars limited me to the usual suspects for the most part and music stores in my area limited me even more, least to what I could try. I read alot of reviews though and decided I'd take a gamble on the mitchell, more as I liked the looks.

I can't say much on it as I've only had it a day but I can say finish wise pretty spot on, I'm very impressed, and has big tone...this sucker is loud frets were a tad rough on the bottom binding but not bad enough to draw blood and that can be fixed soon enough, I haven't restrung it yet but out of the box it has played well, neck needs a slight tweek which i'll do when restring it tonite most likely good no name tuners and stayed in tune over nite pretty well, before i played it this morning.

All in all so far I'd say I'd recommend it as a starter guitar or a back up, it hasn't the tone of my old Martin by anymeans, but I think me and the Mitchell are gonna get along just fine.
